Indulgence is another unique farmhouse-style cheese rarely seen in Australia.
Each Indulgence is made from 1 litre of NASAA certified Organic milk.
A melt-in-the-mouth, rich cheese with a dense, creamy texture and attractive wrinkled rind.
Serving
May be enjoyed from 5 days old (mild with yoghurt-like flavour), but is at its absolute peak when soft (2-3 months) when it becomes a sweet, melting dessert in its own right, and takes on an earthy aroma reminiscent of truffles.. Those who know this delicacy, will keep it in a cool place until its as soft as a ripe fig. Then have it with the fig!
Cosies up nicely to a dessert wine and fresh (or preserved) fruits, especially figs. May be lightly frozen at around 2 weeks old and served with hot stewed fruit.
